Normal Lung

The lung ultrasound demonstrates normal LUNG SLIDING. The pleura is the bright line with comet tail artefacts below it. 2 ribs are shown with acoustic shadows below the ribs.

This is the appearance of normal LUNG SLIDING.

The sea shore sign is seen on m-mode when there is normal lung sliding and absence of pneumothorax. The sea is seen at the top of the image and the shore at the lower part.
