Course Information

The basic ultrasound physics course covers some of the key principles governing ultrasound physics, image generation, processing and display. A good understanding is required for practitioners to better grasp important topics such as image optimization and ultrasound artifacts.

In the latter part of the course, you will learn about the body’s anatomical planes, ultrasound probes, machine knobology & settings, imaging modalities and display orientation.

This module is eligible for 1 CAT 3B CME Point from the Singapore Medical Council. Please download your certificate after completing the final quiz. A pass mark of 80% is required.
