Distributive shock may occur secondary to anaphylaxis, sepsis or be neurogenic in origin. A thorough history and clinical examination should be performed before contemplating a FCU scan.

- Hyperdynamic Left Ventricle
- Normal or Reduced Left Ventricular End Diastolic Area
- Small Left Ventricular Systolic Area
- Global or Regional LV Systolic Dysfunction – Sepsis
- RV Systolic Dysfunction – Sepsis
